The Best Houseplants For Your Style
Written by: Rebekah Bowen
For me, I do not have a green thumb so choosing plants is a little bit harder. I like to choose plants that are low maintenance as I tend to forget to water them.
Here is a list of my favorite houseplants.
Philodendron Heartleaf
This one is great for those who are new to owning plants. It grows quickly and the leaves are heart shaped. Water once a week and low to bright indirect lighting.
Zebra Plant
If you want something funky and jungle like go for the Zebra plant. This plant like most in the jungle thrive off heat and humidity, so go ahead and spruce up your bathroom. Watering once a week with bright direct or indirect light.
Peace Lily
These beautiful white lily flowers will bring life to any house. They bloom throughout the year. You only need to water when the leaves droop and needs medium and indirect light.
Money Tree
These are great to give as a house warming gift or even for yourself. These plants are resilient and fast growing. It can grow up to 3ft tall inside. Water when soil is dry with medium indirect sunlight
Aloe Vera
Finally, my favorite. These plants are easy to maintain and has some healing powers. You can break off leaves and use it on burns or cuts and the leaves will regrow. Water when soil is dry and need direct or indirect sunlight.
